Garment Glossary
A working glossary of clothing terminology — every silhouette, cut, and construction detail that shows up in a photo of an outfit, defined in plain language. Organized by the part of the garment: tops, bottoms, dresses, outerwear, footwear, accessories, and the cross-cutting attributes (neckline, silhouette, sleeve).
Use it as a reference when you know the piece you are looking at but do not know what to call it. Every term is defined tightly enough to be scanned and precise enough to plug into a search.
How to use the glossary
Every term page is a scannable list of definitions with schema.org DefinedTerm markup — so search engines and answer engines can extract the definitions programmatically. If you see a term in a product listing or a caption you do not recognize, jump to the hub it belongs to (footwear, outerwear, etc.) and the term will be there in alphabetical or category order.
Some hubs also link out to a longer guide on a specific piece: the dresses glossary points to the slip-dress guide, the outerwear glossary points to the moto-vs-biker breakdown, and so on. Those long-form pages sit next to the glossary in the site tree.
Search a garment you cannot name
If you have the photo but not the words, SnapFyt names the piece and finds it for sale — no glossary lookup required.
